Ormond by the Sea is an amazing place. In the years before 1984, the pier was the anchor point of a strong community of surfers, fisherman and everyone else. The fact that the two bridges to the mainland are far apart made Ormond by the Sea a sleepy little beach town with a real local feel.
The storm of the century took the Pier out in November of 1984, it was rebuilt many times, after many storms, but not this time. So now those days and the Pier only live in our hearts. And on this cups custom design, it’s not a perfect image of the Pier, or the beach, but maybe it’s close enough to make you smile when you see it!
